Bold, Black, & Barrier Free: Increasing Sexual Responsibility in Black Women

October 28 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Join the Division of HIV Health (DHH) in partnership with Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. – Epsilon Omega Zeta Chapter for an empowering 90-minute virtual workshop centered on Black women’s wellness, advocacy, and HIV prevention.

This interactive session explores the real conversations around PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis), STI prevention, and self-advocacy—without shame or stigma. Together, we’ll unpack what it means to prioritize our bodies, our joy, and our right to thrive.

Participants will:

  • Learn how PrEP works and the different options available
  • Deepen understanding of STI risks and prevention strategies
  • Explore how wellness and advocacy go hand-in-hand when navigating care
  • Build personalized sexual wellness plans rooted in agency, clarity, and care

The session features clinical insights, public health expertise, and a trauma-informed space to reflect, ask questions, and leave with tools you can use right away.

Who Should Attend:
Black women and femme-identified folks ages 18+, community health advocates, sorority members, and anyone passionate about Black wellness and prevention.
